The Position

 

  • Assist Director, Project and Development in managing and planning all developments and works projects of the Corporation to ensure the developments and works projects are accomplished in time, within budget and to required quality;
  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to accomplish the objectives of the developments and works project;
  • Provide technical support on planning, land and development issues;
  • Prepare procurement documents for appointment of consultants;
  • Manage the consultants and monitor their performance;
  • Co-ordinate with consultants, government departments and relevant organizations on planning and land issues, and implementation of developments and works projects;
  • Ensure compliance with the Corporation's guidelines and Delegation Authority;
  • Prepare Papers and Reports for approval by the Board, Committees and Task Force of the Corporation; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

The Candidate

 

  • Degree or above in Surveying or related disciplines;
  • Member of a recognized local professional institute in the discipline of surveying or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience preferably with property developers and consultants;
  • Experience in managing property developments from inception to completion including handover;
  • Experience in procuring and managing consultants for property developments;
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements and procedures for property developments in Hong Kong;
  • Conversant with graphics and presentation tools;
  • Self-driven, independent with good problem-solving and communication skills; 
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
