Assistant Manager, Co-development
The Position
- Monitor and keep the operations of a philanthropy programme of HKSTP supported by a Chinese Conglomerate (namely “China Booster Programme”) on track, communicate effectively and diligently with participating startups and external parties to ensure they are aligned and meeting milestones
- Support the startups by understanding their challenges, finding effective solutions, and providing support through external parties
- Assist in planning, managing, and executing events, ensuring all aspects are well-coordinated and meet the desired objectives
- Support the Co-development Team to develop joint programmes with partners such as corporates, incubators, universities, venture builders and venture capital firms both locally and internationally to drive quality startup pipelines and create success stories
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential local and international co-development partners for potential new collaborations and developments
- Manage PR and Marketing Activities under Co-development Team including creating marketing assets, engaging with marketing channels to promote our programmes and managing other logistical tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
The Candidate
- A bachelor degree's in Business, Science, Engineering or other related disciplines or equivalent
- 5 years of working experience, preferably with prior experience in startup / project management / partnership development
- Highly organized and detail oriented with strong project and event management skills
- Resourceful and proactive in identifying and solving problems
- Knowledge of Mainland China's manufacturing and supply chain is a plus
- Willingness to travel to Greater Bay Area if needed
- A good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
