Client Development Specialist, Advanced Manufacturing (Part-time)

The Position

 

The successful incumbent will participate in planning and implementation of various projects in the team including but not limited to Advanced Manufacturing Center (“AMC”) on attracting potential clients to anchor in the Center in Tseung Kwan O to empower innovation & technology driven re-industrialization. He/she will need to manage the entire landing process of setting up the pilot production line in the Center, from initial admission discussion with relevant internal and external teams, facilitate the technical feasibility study and evaluate the outcome, marketing promotion, and business development as well as the associated tendering, budgeting, and administrative work.

 

  • Drive the landing process in multi-tenant industrial premises in InnoParks by building collaborative relationships with potential pipelines.
  • Manage the tenancy admission process such as tendering/application process, due diligence analysis, direct client relationship management, understanding clients' technical requirements for pilot production set-up and facilitating internal collaborations to bring about the expected business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams such as technical services and engineering services team to facilitate the pilot production set-up by the clients.
  • Manage and coordinate the operation progress, including but not limited to, operation performance review, continuously enhancement of the landing process in AMC
  • Prepare papers and reports for approval by the Management and relevant Committees
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

The Candidate

 

  • A bachelor’s degree preferably in technology, science and engineering, candidates with postgraduate or research qualification would be an advantage;
  • Minimum 8 years’ working experience preferably in project management in advanced manufacturing industry, business development and management of key accounts; candidate with experience in technical R&D management, factory establishment, or management are preferable;
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered;
  • Knowledge in manufacturing line set up and automation development will be a definite advantage;
  • Demonstrated solid marketing and account management experiences in industries will be an advantage;
  • Good attitude, self-motivated, strong team player and can demonstrate ability to motivate and work with others with good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Results-focused and detail oriented; able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
