The Finance Manager will play a key role in leading Financial Reporting, Revenue and Accounts Receivable management, projects on process re-engineering and workflow automation across the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial properties, premises/facilities management and services.

 

The Position

  • Compile and review accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with HKFRS and applicable regulations
  • Lead accounts receivable, rental billings and collection of other income streams, aligning with the terms of the company's lease, license and agreement with on-going monitoring on credit control, problematic accounts and effective debt management
  • Supervise day-to-day accounts receivable operations, execute all-rounded collection activities, develop and implement strategic collection initiatives to optimize recovery rates while maintaining customer relationships
  • Supervise and mentor finance staff, foster collaboration, innovation and high performance in daily operations and process improvements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (account management, operations & legal) and external legal counsel to strengthen collections, minimize disputes and pursue legal actions when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements and internal policies; manage financial risks and implement robust internal controls
  • Participate in process re-engineering, workflow automation and ad-hoc projects to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvements

 

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; HKICPA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 8 years in financial accounting, auditing, or finance operations, with 3+ years in a supervisory role; expertise in accounts receivable is essential
  • Strong team management, communication, negotiation and analytical skills; experience in debt collection legal proceedings a plus
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment; process improvement and workflow automation experience is an advantage
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
  • Excellent in both written and spoken Chinese and English
