Manager, Advanced Manufacturing

The Position

The successful incumbent will participate in planning and implementation of various projects in the team including but not limited to Advanced Manufacturing Center (“AMC”) on attracting potential clients to anchor in the Center in Tseung Kwan O to empower innovation & technology driven re-industrialization. He/she will need to manage the entire project cycle such as managing a pilot-scale manufacturing laboratory, personalized high-mix production line, marketing promotion, and business development as well as the associated tendering, budgeting, and administrative work.

• Drive the occupancy of InnoParks and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders including academia, research institutes and business clients, etc. 
• Generate potential pipelines and manage the tenancy admission process such as tendering process, due diligence analysis, direct client relationship management, understanding clients' technical requirements for office or factory set-up and facilitating internal collaborations to bring about the expected business outcomes
• Manage and coordinate the operation progress, including but not limited to, operation performance review, continuously improvement of of the logistic services in AMC 
• Prepare marketing materials for promotion of HKSTP’s re-industrialization initiatives and contribute to the overall industrial estate positioning and strategy
• Prepare papers and reports for approval by the Management and relevant Committees
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

The Candidate

• A bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, business or related area; candidates with electronic manufacturing or postgraduate or research qualification would be an advantage;
• Minimum 8 years’ working experience preferably in project management in manufacturing industry, business development and management of key accounts; candidate with experience in technical R&D management, factory establishment, or management are preferable;
• Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered;
• Knowledge in manufacturing line set up and automation development will be a definite advantage;
• Demonstrated solid marketing and account management experiences in industries will be an advantage;
• Good attitude, self-motivated, strong team player and can demonstrate ability to motivate and work with others with good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Results-focused and detail oriented; able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
