Manager, Business Solution (Solution Architect)

The Position

• Analyse and understand business requirements, challenges and objectives
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and performance tuning; evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms and vendors
• Collaborate with application teams to design end-to-end scalable, reliable, secure and cost-effective solutions
• Create architectural diagrams and documentation, including system diagrams, data flows and component specifications
• Collaborate with the network team to design and operate a robust hybrid cloud environment, including on-premises data centres and public cloud services
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, data governance and compliance requirements
• Recommend technology stack and tooling decisions; set solution standards, e.g. hybrid cloud and container strategies
• Work closely with information security team to adopt information security best practices
• Act as a key technical advisor to Project Managers
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisors

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with proven experience in managing and monitoring multi-clouds (Azure/Alibaba)
• Sound technical knowledge of hub and spoke, landing zone, front door, custom domain, API gateways, WAF, load balancers, CDN, VM, web services, containerization and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with CRM, ERP and Workflow Solutions design and implementation
• Experience with system integration, API design, and service-oriented architecture
• Familiar with AI/ML technologies and LLM models
• Experience with Agile/DevOps and payment gateway integration is an advantage
• Strong team player, committed to success and results-oriented mindset
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
