Manager, IncuBio (BioMed Tech Startup Management)
The Position
- Drive the development of new accounts and provide account management support with a focus on biomedical technology (therapeutics / medical devices / diagnostics) incubatees/startups
- Promote the Biotech Incubation Programme (IncuBio) through training and networking activities to enchance and drive the growth of IncuBio ecosystem
- Source the potential InnoHK applications to IncuBio
- Handle co-Incubation execution, from activity planning to launching, pipeline development and joint promotion, etc.
- Revamp of IncuBio to enhance customer experience including process optimization, streamlining the workflow, mentorship, etc.
- Manage the operations of IncuBio such as conducting reviews and serving as a secretary for various important meetings including client meetings, due diligence meetings, milestone assessment meetings
- Ensure internal controls are in place for compliance
- Handle other duties as assigned
The Candidate
- A postgraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Science, or other related disciplines or equivalent
- 8 years’ work experience, preferably in R&D, project management, account / programme management
- Prior experience in regulatory affairs is a plus
- Good track record in process improvement with experience in compliance
- Proactive, outgoing and positive attitude with ability to develop effective relationship
- Good team player with strong sense of responsibility
- Good command of spoken and written in English and Cantonese including Mandarin
- Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered; With a postgraduate degree would be an advantage
