Manager, Talent Programmes (1-year-contract)
As part of the growth of the Talent Initiatives team, the Manager, Talent programmes will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programmes that support the growth and development of young talents. The goal is to inspire students and emerging professionals to join Hong Kong’s innovation & technology (I&T) ecosystem, helping to establish Hong Kong as a global I&T talent hub that attracts I&T talents from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas.
The Position
- 
Strategically plan, oversee, and implement a range of talent programmes specifically designed to attract tertiary and secondary school students, as well as emerging professionals, to the I&T and startup community 
- 
Collaborate with local and overseas tertiary institutions, youth organisations, quasi-government organisations to establish partnerships that promote talent programmes and internship opportunities within the I&T ecosystem 
- 
Engage with industry professionals, mentors, and experts to provide students with exposure to I&T experiences, insights into the startup landscape, and career opportunities 
- 
Supervise and support the team in developing publicity plans, attracting and nurturing youth talents, managing internship programmes, and liaising with internal and ecosystem stakeholders 
- 
Prepare and manage proposals, budgets, and reports for programmes and events that align with the needs of the I&T ecosystem 
- 
Track post-programme data analytics, collect feedback from stakeholders, analyse programme effectiveness, and identify areas of improvement to enhance the impact on the I&T ecosystem 
- 
Support other Talent and HR projects as assigned by supervisors 
The Candidate
- 
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or Human Resources relevant disciplines 
- 
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in programme management, talent development, marketing, and event/project management 
- 
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to initiate projects from scratch, combined with expertise in project planning and execution in a fast-paced environment to deliver impactful results 
- 
Experience in handling events and group activities, particularly in the context of the I&T ecosystem, will be advantageous 
- 
A self-motivated team player with a proactive, responsible, and positive attitude, passionate about people and young talent 
- 
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking capabilities 
- 
An effective communicator with excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putongua 
- 
Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager, Talent Programmes
