Manager, Technology Solutions (Account Management)

The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) is seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Manager, Account Management (Technology Solutions). The primary role for this position is to dive the growth and development of our park member accounts, which is integral to advancing HKSTP’s mission of fostering technological innovation and sustainable enterprise growth. The successful candidate will act as the principal liaison for park members, providing strategic account management and leveraging internal HKSTP resources to drive and monitor business success.

The Position

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives that support technology commercialization, research and development, and business expansion
• Analyze each portfolio company’s strengths, corporate structure, market positioning, and operational needs to determine tailored support strategies
• Monitor key business metrics, including corporate structure, taxation, and legal frameworks, to ensure provided solutions align with the long-term objectives of individual accounts and HKSTP
• Engage with park members to ensure consistent and measurable growth of their accounts
• Align account strategies with HKSTP’s core mission of promoting technological innovation and corporate development
• Identify and deploy HKSTP’s diverse resources including technical, operational, and market-oriented support etc. to promote account growth
• Facilitate effective collaboration across internal departments to channel resources efficiently and maximize growth opportunities
• Prioritize support efforts and manage resources to deliver effective, time-sensitive assistance tailored to the specific needs of each account
• Provide customized support addressing both immediate operational requirements and longer-term strategic goals
• Maintain a proactive awareness of industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing the operational and strategic support provided to park members
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned

The Candidate

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or other related discipline or equivalent; MBA or dual qualifications that combine technology and business expertise is a plus
• 8 years of work experience, preferably in account management in multinational or dynamic organizations within the I&T industry
• Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
• Demonstrated success in managing and growing account portfolios
• Sound business acumen of corporate structures, basic business operations, taxation, and legal frameworks
• Proven ability to monitor business performance and develop strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth
• A commercially oriented, result-driven with a consultative approach to stakeholder management
• A proactive team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, committed to contributing to the continued growth and success of HKSTP’s account portfolio
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese including in Putonghua
