Manager, Upskill Practice (Biotech focus)

The position

  • Champion the overall upskill curriculum to deliver learning and development initiatives to support growth of our ventures, with a focus on tailoring for the IncuBio Programme
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of such initiatives to the relevant startups, including but not limited to admission, execution and progress monitoring
  • Build the community among ventures and the mentors / networks in coordination with internal teams, with a focus on the IncuBio programme participants
  • Ensure fit of training/ services to startups’ needs, and alignment of delivery to development schedule of each startup cohort
  • Develop the additional relevant training videos/ materials to early-stage startups and formulate the training and upskill programmes to later-stage startups
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The Candidate

  • Bachelor degree in Life Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Technology or other life science-related disciplines or equivalent
  • 8 year of work experience,preferably in life science/pharmaceutical-related research, product development, or productization
  • Prior experience in private institutions (e.g. pharmaceuticals), educational institutions (e.g. universities), or public institutions (e.g. hospitals, government research institute) is preferred
  • Proven experience/ involvement in end-to-end commercialization/ productization
  • Solid knowledge on regulatory approval process for drugs and medical instruments
  • Multi-jurisdictional experience and knowledge, e.g. FDA, NMPA, GBA connect scheme, would be desirable
  • Knowledge of startup development phases and acceleration means
  • A keen interest in supporting entrepreneurship and fostering innovation within the startup landscape
  • Uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism and ethical conduct
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese including Mandarin
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
