Part-time Consultant (Mobility and Logistics Industries)
The Mobility & Logistics industries are undergoing rapid digital transformation. With the market opportunities for innovations, we are looking for a part-time Consultant (Mobility & Logistics Industries) who will empower the tech ventures in the Hong Kong Science Park to expand both local and overseas markets.
The Position
- Review existing portfolio of tech ventures to identify market opportunities and challenges in the mobility & logistics industries
- Provide advisory services to tech ventures on solution packaging and the go-to-market model including recommendations on utilizing tech ventures’ core technology
- Contribute to the ideation and innovation process by identifying unmet needs, untapped opportunities and potential solutions
- Offer industry domain advice and assistance to tech ventures to empower them in overseas market expansion, particularly in SEA markets
- Facilitate connections between tech ventures and industry experts and thought leaders, introducing them to key stakeholders, potential partners, investors and customers, both local and overseas
- Enhance the reputation of tech ventures by providing credibility and validation to their projects
- Provide mentorship and coaching on effective management and growth strategies to tech ventures
- Handle other ad-hoc projects as assigned
The Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent
- More than 25 years of experience in the mobility and logistics industries, including 10+ years of top management with roles such as CIO/COO in MNCs
- Extensive industry network in the local and overseas markets in the industries
- Strong knowledge of industry practices, systems and market landscapes
- Deep understanding of technological trends and unmet needs of the industries
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
