Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, Technology Project

The Position

• Cultivate AI and data-driven Proof of Value (PoV) projects and new services for our tech ventures, corporate partners and government departments in support of the development of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Initiative
• Research, identify and test the latest applications and tools that are commonly used in R&D activities within tech companies, especially for machine learning, data processing, business intelligence, big data analytics, and various applications in particular industry vertical 
• Design and propose a solid technical solution encompassing the latest development tools, computing resource, database, storage, security, etc., tailored to meet corporate needs
• Coordinate and manage internal teams, tech ventures, and system integration companies to deliver successful PoV projects 
• Collaborate with Large Language Model (LLM) or latest AI model providers, facilitate the on-boarding processing of AI Models to our platform, to empower stakeholders with the latest AI initiatives
• Facilitate data collaboration and sharing among partners and foster tech ventures in adopting AI and data-driven initiatives in particular geospatial data
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen the AI and data ecosystem
• Ensure that project deliverables (e.g. documentation, codebase, testing, etc.) are of high quality
• Organize AI and Data related training, events and activities to the community
• Perform any other duties as assigned

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information engineering, data science, or other tech-related disciplines
• 8 to 10  years of work experience in IT project management, technology innovation, AI, data analytics, or other data-related fields where preferably with 2 years in user requirement collection, business and system analysis for IT project implementation
• Proven track record in delivering successful AI and data-driven projects
• Knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and other AI domains
• Understanding of the AI landscape in Hong Kong, China and internationally
• Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools and geospatial data analysis
• Self-motivated, organized, a good team player and manager able to multi-task and work under pressure and tight schedule
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
