Senior Accounting Officer
The Position
- Manage daily accounting functions (mainly Fixed Asset) and month end closing
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register, Inventory List, Construction-in-progress schedules and project cost records
- Plan and oversee the annual asset count, preparing a comprehensive report to conclude findings
- Collaborate with internal departments to collect and validate information required for period-end reporting
- Drive improvement in internal controls and process and formulate automation initiatives
- Support budgeting processes and prepare accurate, timely financial reports
- Liaise with internal and external auditors in completing group audit and statutory audit
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management
The Candidate
- University graduate or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in fixed asset accounting and financial analysis. Audit experience is preferred but not a must.
- Proficient in MS Office especially in MS Excel and knowledge on ERP systems, SAP experience is preferred
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-minded, self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willing to work under pressure
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
