Senior Associate/Associate, Venture Fund

The Position

• Conduct financial modelling, valuation and return analysis;
• Assist in research, trend analysis, sourcing and meeting with start-ups to explore potential investment opportunities;
• Prepare portfolio management or regular reporting for compliance purpose;
• Assist in preparation of investment memoranda, presentations and paper circulars as well as market research, due diligence and other associated tasks for evaluation of both investment and exit opportunities;
• Work closely with portfolio companies to deliver results; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

 
The Candidate

• University graduate or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Science or related disciplines;
• Minimum 3 years of work experience preferably in investment, VC, financial analysis or related fields;
• High financial literacy and familiar with Excel spreadsheet;
• Passionate in science, technology innovation, unique perspective and early-stage investment;
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skill;
• Detail-oriented, proactive, open-minded, able to work independently and meet deadlines under tight schedule; and
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Fresh graduates or candidate with less experience will be considered as Associate.
