Senior Manager, Business Solution

The Position

• Lead the team to manage the multi-cloud (Azure & Alibaba Cloud) environment with a strong focus on architecture, governance and optimization
• Provide strategic recommendations to design a cost-effective infrastructure by leveraging a multi-cloud approach
• Be the cloud domain expert to support the application teams to implement scalable, secure and stable applications
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Work closely with the security team to ensure that the cloud infrastructure comply with security, data privacy and compliance standards
• Drive innovation projects and adoption of new technologies, e.g. Generative AI & LLM
• Perform prompt remedy actions, track and update progress from various parties to ensure problems been solved with minimum service impact

The Candidate

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or any other related fields
• At least 10 years’ experience in systems engineering, including Cloud Platform migration
• Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions based on industry standards; building and supporting mission-critical technology components with DR capabilities
• Familiar with Cloud platform tools, e.g.  Azure (ARM, AKS, Azure Policy), Alibaba Cloud (VPC, Resource Orchestration Services), DevOps/CI-CD tools, etc.
• Strong planning skills and excellent technical knowledge (infrastructure, servers, applications support, data) are required
• Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Knowledge of Hub and Spoke architecture,  IP networking, DNS, load balancing and CDN is highly preferable
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly learn and work with new systems and infrastructure
• Passionate in innovating new products and services
• Cloud-relevant certifications (Azure/Alibaba Cloud) would be advantageous
• Fluent in both Cantonese and English (spoken and written)
