Senior Manager, Corporate Facilities Management
The Position
- Site Management & Operations:Oversee and manage property operations and customer services, providing comprehensive facilities management for the prestigious developments within the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) portfolio, including office buildings, commercial spaces, and community areas.
- Strategy & Planning: Formulate and implement strategies on facilities management policies, innovation technology adaption model and community events/campaigns. Manage budgets, contracts, and contractor relationships to enhance cost efficiency and service quality.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all operational aspects of assigned portfolio in Science Park and/or InnoParks, including office, lab, and commercial complex. Ensure top-tier operating standards and services, maintain smooth daily operations, and uphold strong tenant relationships while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and codes of practice.
- Prestige Customer Services Standard: Oversee customer services session and ensure the handling of customers’ enquiries and complaints in a professional manner and access the level sensitive and community concerned issues to prepare reply and/or line-to-take and collaborate the subordinates and frontline staff to achieve the services standard and build up team morale
- Crisis & Event Management: Lead efforts in crisis and event management during emergencies. Ensure business continuity and prioritize the safety of visitors and tenants in situations like natural disasters, security incidents, or operational disruptions, etc.
- Leadership & Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills to manage contractor operations, quality control standards, policy and procedure development, sustainability practices, emergency handling, and health & safety monitoring. Efficiently handle tight schedules and deadlines.
- Renovation & Collaboration: Bring experience in new project, renovation and revamping programs for development complexes. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, project teams, technical teams, and service providers.
- Event Assessment & Community Engagement: Access the level of sensitive events and community-related issues to prepare and adjust the operations flexibly and manage the responses to tenant/community effectively.
- Perform any other duties and special tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
The Candidate
- Degree's holder preferably in Facilities and Property Management or any other related disciplines
- Holder of professional qualification (e.g. MCIH, MHKIH, etc.) or eligible to hold the Property Management Practitioner (Tier 1) Licence preferred
- Minimum 12 years of working experience preferably in management of shopping arcade and Grade-A office building, with 8 years’ supervisory experience preferred
- Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
- Sensitive to new trend of facilities management model and PropTech with ability to identify opportunities, drive and implement changes
- Agile, sincere, customer-oriented and passionate team leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High proficiency in both written and verbal English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua. Proficient writing skills is highly preferred
