Senior Manager, Engineering Services
The Position
The primary focus of this role will be accelerating the landing and production setup of Microelectronics companies by leveraging her/his technical expertise in bridging client needs with internal technical teams. Key responsibilities outline below:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to oversee operations and continuously enhance service standards of communal laboratory facilities at the Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) and InnoPark.
- Provide end-to-end technical support to Microelectronics and Advanced Manufacturing clients, from initial engagement through production setup.
- Act as the primary technical interface between clients and internal stakeholders, translating client requirements into actionable technical and operational plans.
- Support clients on Microelectronics fabrication processes, production operations, facility planning, and technical infrastructure requirements.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to ensure suitability of space, utilities, and infrastructure for specialized manufacturing needs.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, issue resolution, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned
The Candidate
- A bachelor's degree preferably in Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably with client advisory and project management experience in industrial sectors and/or laboratories
- Proven track record in large-scale projects in the industrial sector or plant settings, covering project initiation, design, construction, and plant commissioning
- Experience and knowledge in plant establishment and the installation of specialized systems have an added advantage
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate and translate technical terminology into business communications to facilitate understanding
- Seasoned interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a track record of effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Results-driven, detailed oriented and able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent proficiency in English and Chinese, including fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua
