Senior Manager, Event Marketing & Community Engagement

The Position

• Strategically ideate, content curate, position brand identities, deliver impactful messages, control budget vs expense, and perform all-rounded planning and implementation of high-quality and influential B2B & B2C events to achieve the corporate objectives
• Lead and drive the team to meet and even exceed targeted goals.  Accomplish high quality and remarkable outcomes and manage to propose and make strategical and timely decisions in the dynamic environment
• Collaborate with procurement team to comply with all procurement procedures including tender proposals writing, vendor liaison, panel assessment and tender award
• Master impactful marketing and promotional assets; research, analyse, interpret and present latest marketing trend and data in a world perspective
• Strategically plan and deliver engagement initiatives to build a vibrant and actively engaging community among the partner companies in the Science Park eco-system
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors

The Candidate

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or other related disciplines
• Min. 10 years relevant experience in event marketing and management, preferably gained in sizable / MNC corporations with at least 3 years of solid team leadership.
• Proven track record in ideating, content curating and managing high level, large-scale & impactful events, and mastering professional, trendy and effective marketing promotional assets
• Strong business sense, thorough understanding of the latest world marketing trend and good experience in digital and content marketing
• Strong leadership demonstration of tackling challenges, accomplishing remarkable results and growing the team
• Innovative, idea-driven, goal-getting, dynamic, self-motivated, detailed-oriented and able to work under tight schedule
• Proficient in both verbal and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua
• Strong I&T industry network with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
