Built with the vision to enable interaction, co-creation and knowledge sharing, the Experience Centre in Hong Kong Science Park is a notable focus demonstrating the newest collection of I&T breakthroughs.  It engages our stakeholders, fosters collaboration across industries and encourages young talents to unleash their potential.  Inspirational stories across industries are compiled in the Centre that lead visitors to experience a fascinating journey.  We need a high-caliber leader to master the center and bring our visitors a brand new experience about Technology and the I&T ecosystem in Science Park and in Hong Kong.

 

The Position

 

  • Deliver professional hospitality service to VIPs, guests and visitors of the Experience Centre including but not limited to government officials, Mainland and overseas delegates, policymakers, corporate and business leaders, academia, industry practitioners, R&D experts, young generation and more
  • Guide and create a unique journey to our VIPs and our visitors according to their sector to fully experience the technology-enabled exhibit zones in the Centre
  • Identify, plan and invite targeted visitor group to maximize the impact and the engagement of the Centre made to the technology ecosystem in Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas
  • Conduct visitor behavior analysis and prepare monthly report for management review and propose improvement plan to maintain and elevate the service level
  • Manage and ensure the smooth daily operation of the Centre including budget control, visits scheduling and coordination, liaison with contractors and stakeholders, responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Plan and execute centre content revamp periodically and special projects including audio-guided tour experience
  • Host VIPs and guests' visits to other landmarks in the Science Park and perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors

 

The Candidate

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Hospitality and Tourism, Marketing, Business Management or equivalent 
  • At least 10 years of experience in hospitality, customer and community service, marketing, preferably gained in sizable / MNC companies. Minimum 3 years of experience in managerial level with proven leadership skill
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal English, Cantonese and Putonghua as well as proficiency in written English and Chinese
  • A strong storyteller, customer-oriented and passionate about Innovation and Technology
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Manager, Experience Centre & Community Engagement
