Senior Manager, Experience Centre & Community Engagement

The Position

 

Built with the vision to enable interaction, co-creation and knowledge sharing, the Experience Centre in Hong Kong Science Park showcases the latest collection of I&T breakthroughs.  The Centre fosters cross‑industry collaboration, encourages young talents to explore their potential, and brings together compelling innovation stories that guide visitors through an immersive and inspiring journey. We are now looking for a seasoned, high-caliber leader to oversee the Centre and elevate the visitor experience. Beyond leading the Experience Centre, the successful candidate will also drive strategic initiatives—ideating, planning and delivering high‑level flagship events, conferences, exhibitions and community engagement. 

  • Curate and deliver a professional and engaging visitor journey for VIPs, guests and visitors of the Experience Centre, including government officials, Chinese mainland and overseas delegations, policymakers, business leaders, academia, R&D experts, young generations and more
  • Identify, plan and invite targeted visitor group to maximize the impact and the engagement of the Centre made to the technology ecosystem in Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas
  • Host VIPs and guests' visits to other landmarks in the Science Park
  • Conduct visitor behavior analysis and prepare monthly report for management review and propose improvement plan to maintain and elevate the service level
  • Oversee and ensure smooth daily operations of the Centre, including budget management, visit scheduling and coordination, stakeholder and contractor liaison, timely enquiry handling, visitor behaviour analysis and preparing monthly reports
  • Plan and drive content revamp, showcase updates and the introduction of new tech innovations and experiences, driving continuous improvement to elevate the overall visitor experience
  • Lead and drive the overall strategy, design and execution of high‑quality, impactful B2B and B2C events, including flagship event EPIC, conferences, exhibitions and community engagement programmes etc, spanning ideation, content curation, brand positioning, budgeting, planning, execution and promotion
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors

 

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Hospitality and Tourism, Marketing, Business Management or related disciplines
  • Excellent command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua; proficiency in written English and Chinese
  • At least 10 years of experience in hospitality, customer and community service, event marketing or related fields, preferably in sizable or multinational companies
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managerial level with proven leadership skills
  • Proven track record in leading high‑level flagship events, curating content, managing visitor experience, and delivering professional stakeholder engagement
  • Strong business acumen with solid understanding of global marketing trends, content marketing and digital engagement
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • A strong storyteller who is customer‑centric, innovative, and passionate about I&T and ecosystem building
  • Energetic, collaborative, detail‑oriented and able to work under tight schedules with a strong ownership mindset
