Senior Manager, IncuBio (Innovation Collaboration)

The Position

  • Serve as the main contact of co-development / co-incubation / co-creation partnerships in Life and Health Technology (LHT) sectors (therapeutics / medical devices / diagnostics) for fuelling the growth of startups and drive impactful outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders from various domains
  • Promote the LHT track of incubation programme (the “IncuBio Programme”) and enhance the development of LHT startups ecosystem
  • Understand the demands of IncuBio startups, and develop strategies to support via co-development / co-incubation / co-creation collaborations
  • Develop the scouting strategies for IncuBio Programme by aligning corporate and IncuBio initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for co-development / co-incubation / co-creation execution, including pipeline development, activity planning and launching, PR support, joint promotion, progress monitoring and report etc., ensuring all aspects are well-coordinated and meet the desired objectives
  • Support the revamp of IncuBio Programme with the insights from co-development and pipeline scouting
  • Prepare reports and data analysis for management/board meetings where applicable
  • Ensure internal controls and compliance
  • Handle other duties as assigned
     

The Candidate

  • A bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Science or other related disciplines or equivalent
  • 10 years’ work experience, preferably with innovation collaboration gained from MNC or sizable LHT company
  • Prior experience in business development, public relationship or partnership management is a plus 
  • Good track record in key account and Bio-projects management
  • Proactive, outgoing and positive attitude with ability to develop effective relationship and storytelling capability
  • Good team player with strong sense of responsibility
  • Good command of spoken and written in English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
