Senior Manager, Partnerships
The Position
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with executives and business leaders in the construction and built environment sector, both locally and internationally
- Possess a strong understanding of government departments and construction-related stakeholders, including government works departments, contractors, and consultants
- Analyse the unique needs and challenges of construction industry stakeholders and translate them into actionable technology use cases that address specific business requirements.
- Align problem statements with industry stakeholders and drive large-scale technology adoption and commercialisation to achieve KPI targets, with close monitoring of progress and regular reporting to internal teams
- Formulate, lead and implement Innovation & Technology (I&T) initiatives, including strategy planning, events, seminars, workshops, business matching sessions, hackathons, accelerator programmes, and demo days to build up success stories and strengthen the I&T ecosystem
- Take charge and follow through internal procedures with relevant teams, including procurement coordination, documentation preparation, presentation material development, and data analysis
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
The Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a background in Computer Science is an advantage
- 10 years of work experience, preferably in construction, entrepreneurship, stakeholder engagement, or community building within the Innovation & Technology sector
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, manage diverse stakeholders, and drive technology adoption and commercialisation with minimal supervision
- Strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of emerging technology trends, including but not limited to ConTech, PropTech, AI, and Smart City technologies
- Innovative, dynamic, and self-motivated, with the ability to address challenges and deliver exceptional results
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across internal business functions and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua
- Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
