Senior Manager, Programmes Intelligence
Reporting to the Team Leader of Portfolio Development, this role leads the Operational Intelligence Management function (OIM) for HKSTP's Startup Ecosystem team. This function is responsible for development of meaningful reports/ dashboards, and timely and accurate production such as they underpin daily operations and decision-making. This role also spearheads development of management insight which drives development of the startup ecosystem.
The position
- Drive business insights by collating business issues and/ or business hypothesis from Business Leads
- Develop and execute plans to analyse issues leading to actionable business recommendation or tangible outcome
- Lead a team to develop and produce fit-for-purpose reports and dashboards with data analysis for the startup ecosystem
- Develop and refine the reports and dashboards with relevant team leads to support relevant day-to-day operations and decision-making
- Ensure timely and accurate production and resolve relevant issues
- Liaise with owners of relevant systems to ensure access to the right systems and understanding the data
- Collaborate with internal IT team and external vendors to ensure support of applications relevant to report and dashboard production
- Perform any other duties as assigned
The Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Technology or other related disciplines
- 10 years of working experience preferably with business analysis experience from MNCs with multi-location responsibility or consulting firms
- Proven experience and success in managing complex internal or external initiatives/ business analysis/ reporting functions with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of start-up development phases and acceleration means
- Exhibit passion for building startup ecosystem for Hong Kong
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, attention to details with agile delivery
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders
- Uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism and ethical conduct
- Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese including Mandarin
- Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
