The Position

 

  • Formulate strategies on sustainability, smart-technologies application & implementation, and resources planning to maximize the efficiency of the facilities resources to support the property portfolio;
  • Review green operations and initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and uphold sustainability best practice;
  • Leading initiatives to enhance resource efficiency and waste reduction;
  • Staying updated on industry trends and regulations in sustainability and ESG practices;
  • Manage annual operation budgets and monitor actual monthly incomes and expenditures;
  • Prepare design, budgets, estimates, drawings and specifications for sustainability and improvement works and administer the tendering process;
  • Review tender or contract documents submitted by the facility management service providers and advise on the tendering process and tender document formulation;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

 

The Candidate

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Surveying, Building Services Engineering or relevant Engineering disciplines; Master’s degree in surveying/engineering is an added advantage;
  • Corporate membership of HKIS, HKIE or equivalent;
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant working experience in sustainability projects/operations;
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered;
  • Proven expertise in sustainability practices;
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering sustainability projects, with proven expertise in government procedures, statutory licensing, and green certifications;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customer service oriented mindset in dealing with different levels of internal and external parties;
  • Excellent communication, planning, organizational and management skills; self-motivated, confident, creative and strong desire to achieve better performance;
  • Willing to work irregularly as required to meet operational needs;
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
