Senior Officer, Client Development (lab focus)
The Candidate
- Collaborate with management and team to formulate and implement robust growth strategies and actionable business plans to meet and exceed target income, utilization and acquisition of new users for the core facilities
- Support the team to plan and execute multiple service promotion campaigns via seminars, exhibitions, emailing, social media and content creation (leaflets, short videos) and generate a sustainable pipeline of opportunities for different lab services
- Serve as a key liaison in the deployment of new service offerings, assisting the team in implementation and logistics for growth initiatives including the Biological Resource Programme, Contract R&D initiatives, Calibration Service, etc.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients as well as handle enquiries and manage feedback to ensure high satisfaction, recurring usage, and organic growth
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
The Candidate
- Bachelor in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacology, or related life science discipline
- 3 years of experience, preferably in client development, collaboration programme, or key account management in Life and Health Technology industry or lab services environment
- Strong passion for advancing life and health technologies
- Able to manage multitasks effectively and work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment to achieve shared goals
- Demonstrated ability to develop growth strategies and translate them into actionable plans
- A good team member with effective communication skills and interpersonal skillls
- Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling and interpersonal skills for client development and content creation
- A good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
