Senior Officer, Programmes Development

The Position

 

The successful incumbent will play a key role in our Business Development initiatives, particularly focusing on the development of sales pipeline and cross border activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing leads, converting prospects into clients, and creating impactful cross-border initiatives including but not limited to developing a new Global Connect Community Portal for client engagement. Key responsibilities are outlined below:

 

  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for nurturing leads through business development initiatives and programmes
  • Conversion Strategies: Optimise the sales funnel to improve conversion rates from leads to customers.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and community members.
  • Cross-Border Programme Development: Design and manage BD programmes and initiatives that facilitate the expansion of tech enterprises into Global markets. This includes market-entry workshops, webinars, roadshows,etc.
  • Portal Development: Work closely with external vendors and internal technical teams to build a new Community Portal. Ensure the platform serves as a dynamic hub for cross-border collaboration, resource sharing, and community networking.
  • Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Manager(s).

 

The Candidate

 

  • Bachelor or equivalent preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication or related subjects.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience preferably in project management, business development or sales marketing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a global mindset.
  • Attention to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, able to multi-task and work under pressure with tight schedule.
  • Knowledge of design software (such as Photoshop, Canva), and experience working with content management systems (CMS) or developing online community platforms is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) a must.
  • Occasional business travel is required.
