Senior Officer, Sales Operation & Business Analytics (6-month Contract)

The Team

The business development team of HKSTP is responsible for identify, engage and convert target enterprises, start-ups and scale-ups to set up R&D/lab presence at HKSTP premises. It serves as the first contact point for external stakeholders, especially tech ventures, who wants to understand the HK tech landscape and ecosystem resources. The business development team’s key function is to build and maintain senior-level relationship with related government bodies, high-tech companies, startup communities, etc. increase the visibility of HKSTP in the international I&T start-up communities, serve as the eyes, ears and voice of HKSTP.

The Position

In view of the rapid expansion and continuous growth of the Corporation, we are looking for a high-calibre candidate to support the Business Development team on operation support, data analysis and project management. Key responsibilities shown below,

• Support the business development team on operation and sales coordination, including application document verification, tenancy admission portal processing, and cross-departmental coordination.
• Maintain and update the HKSTP Occupancy & Admission Pipeline Dashboards to ensure 100% data accuracy.
• Generate quantitative analytics and regular reports on deal conversion rates, lead generation status, and move-in / move-out trends.
• Support business development managers to facilitate tech companies’ landing process, including client communication, pipeline management and admission flow / status monitoring
• Facilitate the end-to-end tenant landing workflow, including client onboarding, talent admission portal application tracking, completeness verification of key corporate documents (BR, CI, Audited Accounts, Org Charts), and Due Diligence (DD) meetings setup.
• Support BD Managers in site planning and space selection coordination using internal Space Reservation systems.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree holder, preferably in Technology or Business-related fields. Advanced Degree in technology-related fields (such as engineering, science, AI and data) is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in working, preferably in sale operation, data analysis, executive assistant or project management. 
• Professional analytical skills (good command of AI, data analytic models, forecasting) would be highly desirable.
• Knowledge in the innovation technology sector will be a plus.
• Detail-minded, sensitive to figures, self-initiated, independent, goal-getting, collaborative, customer-oriented
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
• Ability to work and collaborate in team environment
