Senior Officer / Officer, Funding Management and TecONE (Marketing and Events)

The Position      

• Drive technology companies and support them to apply for public funding schemes
• Assist in all-round administration of relevant funding and support programmes, such as handling application and reimbursement vetting, conducting visit-cum-interviews with applicant companies, and verifying compliance with relevant application guidelines
• Assist in advising technology companies on enquiries or questions related to funding applications and reimbursement
• Support event planning, promotion, content creation and coordination for seminars, webinars, workshops, etc that engage the technology community
• Assist in planning and execution to centre promotional campaigns; maintain and update client database using CRM software
• Perform counter duty as appropriate and other duties (such as event support) assigned by supervisors as appropriate

The Candidate  

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business is preferred
• Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in funding programme administration, marketing, event coordination or customer service; candidates with less experience will be considered as Officer
• Experience in service centre, Government’s or NGO’s funding programmes would be an advantage
• Logical minded, sensitive with numbers; meticulous, proactive, well organized and multi-tasking
• Skilled in preparing marketing and communication materials with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Chinese Word Processing, and preferably familiar with graphic design tools
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
