Senior Programmer

The Position

• Design and develop the backend CMS and the APIs to support the features of the HKSTP app
• Maintain CI/CD pipeline to streamline development processes
• Discover and evaluate new technologies to support business needs and strategy
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to build highly scalable and available products
• Follow the priority of project managers in the entire agile SDLC to ensure the project objectives are achieved timely
• Consolidate different API communications between the mobile application and various backend gateway parties
• Perform unit and system integration tests with happy and exceptional cases
• Perform other jobs as assigned

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in backend application development
• Solid experiences in C#, .Net and node.js programming, designing patterns of MVVM and MVC, DevOps and CI/CD deployment and familiar with web services/ APIs are preferred
• Hands-on cloud hosting (Preferably in Azure & Alibaba Cloud) is a must
• Experience in delivering medium-to-high-traffic mobile apps is a plus
• Knowledge in frontend programming (e.g. JavaScript, CSS) is a plus
• Detailed-minded and committed to success
• Strong sense of responsibility and eager to learn
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
