The Corporate Liaison Office (CLO) adopts a visionary, coordinated and integrated approach that places strong emphasis in coordination across departments in HKSTP to facilitate requests for formal visits to Hong Kong Science Park.  CLO is the focal point of contact providing one-stop service to all outside agencies like Government Bureaux and departments, Mainland authorities at central, provincial and municipal levels and private organizations, Consulates in Hong Kong, educational sector and trade associations etc. in order to project a positive image of HKSTP.


The Position


  • Assist to manage the Corporate Liaison Office by formulating strategic planning blueprint in the implementation and coordination of formal visits to Hong Kong Science Park;
  • Prioritize and manage requests for formal visits to Hong Kong Science Park from all sources, in particular Mainland government at provincial and municipal levels; 
  • Prepare formal visit itinerary and coordinate the event protocol to visiting dignitaries;
  • Undertake as principal presenter in Putonghua, English and Cantonese to all formal visits and ensure all written and verbal communications are appropriately dealt with according to protocol;
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders addressing the needs of all visiting delegations, including the arrangement of site visits to laboratories or presentation by partner companies in Hong Kong Science Park; 
  • Maintain databases for all visits, ensuring details are accurate and updated in a timely manner;
  • Contribute to the improvement of quality and efficient service by applying innovative initiatives to events and protocol management; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.


The Candidate


  • Recognized university degree of any discipline or equivalent, Master degree or above in Chinese language or literature is an added advantage;
  • Minimum 8 years’ working experience preferably in corporate communication or related field in executive capacity with proven track records;
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered;
  • Good understanding of the culture and structure of state enterprises, and Mainland government at provincial and municipal levels;
  • In depth understanding of the organization structure of Hong Kong Government, especially on the Innovation and Technology ecosystem;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customer service oriented mindset in dealing with different levels of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Good planning and management skills, self-motivated, confident, creative and with strong desire to achieve better performance;
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese with superb presentation skills, native Putonghua is an added advantage; and
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other presentation-related software like Google Slides or Keynote.
