The Position

 

  • Take the lead in the Incu-Bio programme revamp for the next phase and explore mechanisms for public-private partnership on co-incubating/accelerating biotech start-ups
  • Implement the strategy that aligns corporate vision for Incu-Bio scouting and pipeline enhancement
  • Foster partnerships with biomedical industries, incubators and investor stakeholders for start-up nurturing and ecosystem enhancement
  • Propose and support technical and networking activities to facilitate collaboration among IncuBio stakeholders
  • Liaise with Co-Incubation partners, develop detailed plans and execute co-incubation activities
  • Provide account management with a focus on biomedical technology startups
  • Prepare proposal / papers for business case, operational measures and budget, etc. for corporate management review and assessment
  • Ensure internal controls are in place for compliance 
  • Handle other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned 

 


The Candidate

 

  • A bachelor's degree in life science, biomedical science or engineering, including biology, biochemistry, immunology or other related disciplines 
  • 10 years work experience, preferably in technology management, R&D and key account management
  • Experience in biotech incubator, early stage investment or equity programme is preferred
  • Good track record in process improvement and handling compliance is a plus 
  • Proactive, outgoing and positive attitude with ability to develop effective relationship
  • Good team player with strong sense of responsibility 
  • Excellent analyzing and planning capability
  • Good command of spoken and written in English and Cantonese including Mandarin 
  • Candidate with less experience but higher qualification or sound profile will also be considered.
